How to Apply Traditional (Pre-Pasted) Wallpapers?
Step 1: Prepare the Wall
- Make sure the wall is smooth, clean, and dry.
- Remove any existing wallpaper or dirt.
- If needed, prime the wall with a wallpaper primer for better adhesion.
Step 2: Prepare the Paste
- Follow the instructions on your wallpaper paste packaging to prepare the adhesive.
- Apply the paste directly to the wall using a brush or roller.
Step 3: Measure and Cut the Wallpaper
- Measure the wall and cut your wallpaper to size, leaving extra at the top and bottom.
- Roll the wallpaper loosely, paste side out.
Step 4: Apply the Wallpaper
- Start from the top and align the first panel carefully.
- Use a smoothing tool to remove air bubbles as you apply the wallpaper.
Step 5: Align and Repeat
- Align the next panel, ensuring the patterns match.
- Continue applying the wallpaper until the entire wall is covered.
Step 6: Trim Excess
- Trim off the excess wallpaper with a sharp knife, and smooth out any remaining bubbles.
